Public Qigong Classes
There are currently classes running on Sundays at 3pm at the Sunnynook Community Centre.
The class has two parts:
1. Movement Qi Gong: Tong Tian Di Qigong (From the Sky through to the Earth). This helps bring awareness and intention to the body and clear out the energy channels and fill up major energy centres/Dantian of the body.
2. Quiet Qigong: This practice is an opportunity to explore your own energetic space and healing needs through a simple quiet practice called Tian Quan Qigong (Sky/Heaven Spring Qigong). This style of Qigong has no particular form but allows your body to unwind through relaxed spontaneous movement.
San Tiao – Three regulations
Tiao Shen – Adjust/Regulate the Body
Tiao Xi – Adjust/Regulate the breathing
Tiao Xin – Adjust/Regulate the heart/mind

I am grateful to Kerry for helping me to identify and resolve obstructions to my growth and well-being on multiple levels. He has assisted me in reaching a point of balance and health I have not experienced since I was a child. This has enabled me to accelerate my progress towards my full potential with a greater sense of clarity of who I am and where I am going.

Centering & Grounding Workshop with Kerry Castell-Spence, Saturday 13th April, 2013, Auckland
I have been a student of yoga for many years and also received teachings from a spiritual master for over 14 years (meditation & Dzogchen) attending a number of retreats; additionally, I have trained as a massage practitioner & in other therapeutic modalities. I currently work in a very busy & often stressful corporate role within marketing, events/administration. I found Kerry’s workshop to be thoroughly practical, logical & unpretentious. He delivered this two-hour workshop with an ease and clarity which I felt made everyone feel engaged and comfortable. Personally, I felt immediate benefits and relevant advice and ‘new information’ that will benefit my daily life and practices. Thank you kindly! I really look forward to future workshops :0)
